KAWALA drop highly acclaimed single “American Adrenaline”

Date:

They haven’t officially dropped new music in the past couple of years, but KAWALA has introduced fans to new songs on the sneak… Last year, the North London band did a sold-out run in the UK, where they played new material for audiences. These tracks were very much loved by those lucky enough to be in attendance, showing that the guys have not lost the magic that was found on their debut album, Better With You, from 2022. With a lot more to come in 2024, the band is off to a good start by releasing one of these crowd-pleasing songs, “American Adrenaline.”

An instant indie pop banger, “American Adrenaline” is for those out there who are looking to live life to the fullest but aren’t sure where to start. The band gives us lighthearted vibes through the sun-soaked guitar lines, the active percussion in the choruses, and the vocals that glide right over it all, perfectly complementing the Americana lyrics. We hear about hotels rooms, beaches, highways, mountains, and billboards, unofficial landmarks that can either excite or bore passersby. It is all brought together through the fervent line, “Show me where I can get American adrenaline,” the band desperate for more. You can listen to it below.

Telling us more about “American Adrenaline,” KAWALA explain,

“We wrote ‘American Adrenaline’ about the constant struggle we all face every day chasing this mythical, unreachable idea of what often gets described as the ‘American Dream.’ The glitz, the glamour…and in reality, it all feels miles away…but maybe that’s okay.”

You can listen to “American Adrenaline” on platforms like SoundCloud, Apple Music, and Spotify.
