Andy Void Goes a Little Cuckoo in “Insane”

Date:

What a fun little bop.

Andy Void isn’t afraid to let loose and in the new single “Insane”, he shows it. Utilizing classic Pop Punk chord structures and arrangement, the tale-as-old-as-time of a romance driving one up the wall is illustrated. This song is accessible and follows a fail-safe formula to get the energy going.

The spice of this track comes in the production choices that Void makes. The heavy use of autotune and synthesizers adds a hyperpop feel to the song that modernizes it and takes it out of straight up Pop Punk territory. The chorus hits fast and frequently and gives the listener every opportunity to learn it and sing along. “Driving me insane, driving me insane, driving me insane”.

With a rippin’ guitar solo to break up the verses and choruses, this song has got everything you need. “Insane” is a plug and play (loud) energy booster that fits right into your hyperpop or pop-punk playlist!
