Oxford indie-pop act The Mezz “Harbour The Feeling” in their new release, ahead of their sophomore EP The Mezz set for March this year. If you have enjoyed any song from The 1975 in the last decade, this song is for you.
This heartfelt anthem is upbeat, pop driven, energetic, and very feel good. Since their debut EP Avoid The Panic in 2022, the band has been busy with single releases and show performances. They are known for captivating performances and selling out shows across London. Whether a die-hard groupie or new to the sound, their live sets will keep all fans on their feet and dancing.
Their catchy pop songs, however, are more than just that. Their upbeat songs are scores of resilience and hope, as the band has faced adversity when drummer Charlie was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Frontman Ben describes “Harbour The Feeling” as a sequel to their latest release, “Bridges.”
“It’s about shedding the burdens that hold you back and embracing what truly matters”
“Harbour The Feeling” resonates on a deeper level, as well as catches new fans with their initial pop sounds. For those lucky enough to make it to the UK, The Mezz has an exciting few months of shows. You can grab tickets here.
