The Japanese House brings an exciting sold out show to Boston

Date:

The Japanese House closed out their U.S tour in Boston at their largest headline show to date. They certainly did not disappoint. Fans in attendance were in for a treat that night as this was one of The Japanese House’s best shows to date.

Fans lined up outside the venue on a cold rainy Boston night, eager to get inside and see their favorite band perform. Once inside you could practically feel the excitement and buzz around the venue. The night got off to a fantastic start thanks to a wonderful performance by opener Quinnie who are a three piece folk band. They really captivated the crowd early on and got the night off to a great start.

It wasn’t long after Quinnie took the stage that The Japanese House would do the same. Fans screamed when front woman Amber Bain took the stage with the band to sing “Sad To Breathe” to kick off their set. The setlist for the night was stellar with hits from their latest album “In The End It Always Does” like “Touching Yourself”, and ‘Baby Goes Again’, where fans held up their phone lights that nearly brought Amber to tears. They also played classics from “Good At Falling” and ‘Chewing Cotton Wool’, which were well loved by the crowd. Though a lot of their catalog features songs with a sad undertone, there was never a dull moment throughout the night, just maybe some tears shed. The Japanese House surely know how to put on a fantastic show each time, and this Boston show was without a doubt very special to them and everyone there. It’s going to be hard to beat a night like this one, that’s for sure. Be sure to check out our photos from the show below!
