Noah Kahan has joined forces with Kacey Musgraves to create a delightful duet version of his 2022 track, originally featured on his notable 2022 album, Stick Season, “She Calls Me Back.”
In this rendition, “She Calls Me Back” takes a more upbeat turn as Kacey Musgraves adds her distinctive vocals to carry a verse and harmonize beautifully with Kahan.
This duet release is part of a string of collaborations for Kahan, who has recently worked with several prominent artists. In July, he and Post Malone teamed up for an interpretation of “Dial Drunk.” Just two weeks ago, he partnered with Lizzy McAlpine for a fresh take on “Call Your Mom.” Additionally, last month, he introduced a new song with the beloved country music outlaw, Zach Bryan, titled “Sarah’s Place,” which is included in Bryan’s latest EP, Boys of Faith, featuring Bon Iver.
Noah Kahan is in the midst of his extensive “Stick Season Tour” across North America, with performances scheduled until October 15. Notably, he has sold out shows lined up in cities like Nashville, Dallas, Tampa, and more. Following this, Noah is set to take his “Stick Season” tour to the UK and Europe in the upcoming fall. The overwhelming demand for his music has already led to a second sold-out tour scheduled for Spring 2024.
In addition to his music career, Noah Kahan is a vocal advocate for mental health awareness and depression issues. He has managed to raise over $900,000 for The Busyhead Project, an initiative he launched earlier in the summer. The project supports mental health efforts and contributes to Vermont flood relief, causes that hold special significance to Kahan. He is steadily progressing towards his goal of reaching $1 million for mental health support by the end of the year.
