LVVRS talk about ‘Bad Girls’ in new single

Date:

What does it mean to be iconic? It’s more influential than superiority and more essential and vibrant than perfection.

LVVRS released ‘Bad Girls’ on September 15th. This song is the lead single ahead of a slew of new releases building towards our debut EP release in late Nov. 2023.

The members of LVVRS (pronounced “lovers”) wouldn’t call themselves iconic, but their casual confidence makes it clear that they possess what it takes to be so. They understand the power of iconic status and are ready to chase the glory.

The song starts with a groovy drum beat, and vibrant lead vocals float over the instruments. The guitar smoothly slides in and is very subtle the entire time. The drums have a light retro folk sound that keeps the song going at a steady pace. Toward the end of the song, a woman’s voice makes the song all fit together.

Despite humble beginnings in Acadiana, the humid, verdant, tree-shrouded Southern region of Louisiana, LVVRS developed a sound that would play anywhere. The group performs with the power and conviction of modern rockers, but they’ve also got the precision, meticulousness, and attention towards sonic detail suggestive of major pop artists.
