ILESONIQ 2023, the highly anticipated Montreal festival of electronic music, once again proved to be an unforgettable experience. Over the course of the weekend, the festival delivered massive stages, magical performances, and an energetic crowd who showed up despite a very rainy first day creating an atmosphere of pure musical bliss.
One of the highlights of ILESONIQ was undoubtedly the impressive lineup of talented artists. Acclaimed performers such as The Chainsmokers, Alesso and Martin Garrix graced the stage, delivering sets that were nothing short of extraordinary. Their performances were characterized by impeccable mixing, infectious beats, and an incredible ability to connect with the crowd, creating an electrifying atmosphere that kept festival-goers on their feet throughout. The visual production at ILESONIQ was nothing short of mesmerizing. The main stage was a spectacle to behold, with one massive stage and a LED screen that transformed into a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and mind-bending visuals.
The Chainsmokers showcased their signature blend of electronic and pop music, captivating the crowd with their infectious beats and catchy melodies. The audience couldn’t help but dance and sing along to hits like “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down.”
Making the experience at ILESONIQ even more memorable, Martin Garrix delivered one of the most magical set of the weekend. Performing his biggest hits “Scared To Be Lonely (feat. Dua Lipa)” and “Animals” with visuals from dazzling lasers to mesmerizing pyrotechnics, every visual element complemented the music.
