As of earlier this week, the general public was under the impression that the U.S. leg of the Eras Tour would conclude with a six-night engagement at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, starting tonight and ending on August 9, but after some recent news, Taylor Swift’s US Eras Tour is not over just yet. The tour is set to return to the United States and Canada in October and November of 2024.
Taylor Swift made the exciting announcement this morning, revealing 15 additional shows in four North American cities. Fans in Canada, who were eagerly waiting for news, can now rejoice as the tour will have its final dates in November 2024, with six shows scheduled at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era,” Swift wrote on social media. “Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams! Verified fan registration for all shows is open now – visit TaylorSwift.com for more information.”
Before the Toronto shows, Taylor Swift will be performing three concerts each in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis. The Miami concerts will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium on October 18-20, followed by the shows at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on October 25-27, and finally, the concerts in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 1-3.
Swift’s website is currently informing fans that they can register for Verified Fan access to the U.S. shows next year. The registration is open until this Saturday at 5 p.m. ET/2 PT.
Interestingly, Swift has not confirmed these as the final dates for the tour, leaving the possibility open for more additions after the tour returns to North America following the existing 2024 itinerary that takes the Eras Tour throughout Europe.
From there, Swift’s schedule includes shows in Latin America, though at a less frequent pace than the U.S. concerts. She will be performing in Mexico City from August 24 to 27, Buenos Aires from November 9 to 11, Rio de Janeiro from November 17 to 19, and Sao Paulo from November 24 to 26.
