Artist, songwriter, and producer Eric Zayne released a sun-kissed summertime anthem titled “Tropicana Kisses” this week. With his flawless mix between classical funk and new pop, Zayne is sure to have you craving all things summertime and love with this one.
In a press release, Zayne says he wanted to “make music that feels like the classic songs that have inspired my career,” citing Jamiroquai and Prince as influences on the track. Though he has figured out his unique style, and managed to always stay true to that and his fans, things have not always been easy for Eric Zayne. “I am a refuge kid. Being a child of war from the Congo evacuated at the age of 12 without my family, left me to raise myself,” he explains. Zayne has proven himself to be resilient and adaptable no matter the situation which has overflown into his music and formed fans from all over the world. Though “Tropicana Kisses” may take you on a journey straight into summertime, its guaranteed to be stuck in your head for seasons to come.
