Cam Wales simmers on the dark side of the moon in “Wasting Time”

Date:

Pop punk newcomer Cam Wales released “Wasting Time,” a dark track with bashing percussion and razor-sharp riffs. “Wasting Time” seethes with self-awareness and deprecation, but a silver lining of hope remains of finding love in another person and yourself thereafter.

Wasting Time

Cam Wales broke into the industry in 2014 alongside Bryce Savage as NEFFEX, achieving over 1 billion Youtube views after releasing a campaign of 100 songs in 100 weeks. The California native then took the leap from EDM-Rap hybrids to hard punk projects in 2021, and has since garnered over 50 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify.

In a press release Wales remarked, “I understand how important it is to put your own feeling into literally every part of songwriting. That’s what I want to keep with this project: being as creative with it as possible, and making sure it’s something I truly love.”

With 2 EPs and a lineup of singles under his belt, Wales continues to rage with “Wasting Time” and grow into his own sound
