Multi-faceted Scottish singer/songwriter Nati Dreddd is back with her brand-new single “Stay”, which is taken from her forthcoming debut EP, due to drop in October. The track is a folk-pop dream that centres around her strong vocals, complete with her signature Scottish twang, alongside an up-tempo folk-laden rhythm. The track delves into the feelings of realising you’re expendable to someone, whether you’re in a new relationship or friendship, you tend to keep your guard up, especially if you’ve been hurt before. Speaking of her new single, Nati said:
“This song captures the moment you realise how much this person in your life will change at the drop of a hat. One minute they love you, the next they want nothing to do with you. It’s about realising your self-worth and taking your power back.”
In a quiet seaside town in the East of Scotland, Nati has been growing an army of global fans. Last year saw her not only hit nearly 2 million followers across social media platforms but also hit the road supporting Tidelines, Newton Faulkner and Simply Red. A successful run of live-streamed shows meant that Nati could quit her 9-5 job and focus solely on her music.
