SebastiAn and London Grammar Collaborate on New Single

Date:

French producer, SebastiAn (Ed Banger), and UK indie pop trio, London Grammar, have joined forces on a mesmerizing new single, “Dancing By Night.” The lyrics explore a struggle with emotional distance, repeated mistakes, and the yearning for redemption of a relationship as Hannah Reid’s voice floats over a velvety beat and explodes into a synth drenched chorus. The single serves as a glimpse into London Grammar’s upcoming remix album, London Grammar – The Remixes, set to be released on July 21st. This project succeeds the band’s highly successful 2021 album, California Soil, which claimed a #1 spot on UK charts and also earned a prestigious gold certification in the UK.

SebastiAn’s career as a producer has spanned well over a decade. His last full length project was his hyper collaborative album, Thirst, released in 2019. He has also lent his talents to icons like Frank Ocean, and created compositions for films including Our Day Will Come (2010). He has even crafted original soundscapes for luxury brand, Saint Laurent’s, fashion shows.

When asked about his experience collaborating with London Grammar’s front woman, SebastiAn shares, “Her pure and powerful voice is a world by itself and a gift to me, an incredible experience being able to cross her intensity and my music. Hannah looks quiet, but she’s strong, it has been a privilege for me to work together.”

“Dancing By Night” is out now via Because Music. Pre-save London Grammar – The Remixes here. Check out the music video for “Dancing By Night” directed by Jeanne Lula Chauveau below.
