Leeds-based metal band Caskets has released their emotional new track, “Better Way Out.” The fourth single from their upcoming album Reflections, due out August 11 via SharpTone Records, “Better Way Out” candidly confronts depression and suicidal thoughts.

The track’s hopeful lyrics remind listeners that no matter what they’re going through, there’s always a way out of their situation, with lead vocalist Matt Flood singing “bury your hurt, carry your pride / never let go you don’t need to hide”. The impassioned vocals combined with powerful guitars serve to drive the message of the song home for listeners. Watch the official music video below:

The release of this track follows the last three offerings from their upcoming album, “Guiding Light”, “By the Sound”, and “More Than Misery” featuring The Word Alive‘s Telle Smith. You can pre-order Reflections here.

While you wait not so patiently for Reflections to come out, you can catch them on tour around the world. They’ll be appearing at Make a Scene Festival in the UK on July 15, followed by a short run in Australia with Windwaker and alt. In August, they’re headed to North America to support Blessthefall on their Hollow Bodies 10 Year Anniversary tour. Tickets are available for all their shows here.
