Singer-songwriter, Nicky Youre, know for his widely successful TikTok viral song “Sunroof,” has released a new track, as well as an accompanying music video, “Good Times Go.”
The track explores the passing of precious moments and paints a picture of fleeting joy and the realization that cherished memories inevitable fade away. The bittersweet theme is beautifully encapsulated in lines like “Good times go, like waves on the shore” and “We held on tight, but time slipped away.”
Consisting mainly of subtle percussion, acoustic guitar, and piano, the production of the track is minimalistic and something you’d hear on an AJR track, allowing the lyrics and vocals to be front and center and giving the track an overall feel good summery sound.
