Date:

Summer is officially here, and that means festival season! Celebrating its 32nd year, Chicago’s Lollapalooza is one not to miss.

Taking place from August 3rd-6th, Lollapalooza has curated a powerhouse multi-genre lineup with headliners: Billie Eilish, Karol G (making history as the first female Latin artist to headline Lolla), Kendrick Lamar, The 1975, ODESZA, Tomorrow X Together, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Lana Del Rey.

Over the course of four days at historic Grant Park, fans will be able to catch over 170+ artists on nine stages including: Thirty Seconds to Mars, Fred again.., A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Maggie Rogers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Noah Kahan, and Diplo.

We can’t forget about the up-and-coming artists we love to feature here at Melodic Mag who are scheduled to play the fest – including Isabel LaRosa, Beauty School Dropout, Charlotte Sands, Arcy Drive, The Happy Fits, and Chicago’s own Friday Pilots Club.

For families looking to enjoy the festival, kids eight and under can attend for free with a ticketed adult and check out Kidzapalooza, an interactive music playground within the festival which features a lineup of family-friendly performances, music and dance workshops, activities, and more.

For fest-goers looking to extend their day, the lineup of Official Lollapalooza Aftershows have been announced where fans can see their favorite artists at intimate venues: from Thirty Seconds to Mars at the 1,000 cap House of Blues to Carly Rae Jepson at the 1,100 cap Metro.

All ticket options are now on sale. To purchase tickets visit www.lollapalooza.com/tickets. Kids 8 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.

Stay tuned for our list of up-and-coming artists you can’t miss at Lollapalooza.
