Ville Valo’s Neon Noir Tour Comes To Nashville

Date:

On May 4th Ville Valo brought his Neon Noir tour to Nashville, Tennessee’s iconic Brooklyn Bowl music venue. Supporting act for this tour was Icelandic powertrio, Kaelan Mikia. As showtime crept near fans packed the venue to a near sold out capacity, and immediately lined the barricade. Chatter amongst the fans made it very evident the impact VV has had on their lives, some of which mentioned how thankful they were for his music.

Finnish musician, Ville Valo, most known as the former frontman of gothic band HIM, and also the creator of the iconic Heartagram began his solo journey in 2020, and fans were elated. As the neon Heartagram sign began to slowly light up, fans started to lose control. For what felt like hours, we watched the sign slowly turn to a beautiful pink, and the band began walking onto the stage, at this point we realized the moment we have been waiting for was amongst us. As VV, began the first song, fans sang along word for word, a rush of safety, family, and love could be felt for miles as the show went on. Since being on his solo journey VV has released one album in 2023 titled Neon Noir, which has received amazing feedback. Previously noted musical and non musical influences include Black SabbathDepeche ModeType O Negative, Edgar Allen Poe, H.P Lovecraft, however he has managed to have a beautifully unique sound of his own. During the 16 song set VV played a variety of songs including “Poison Girl,” “Right Here in My Arms,” “Neon Noir,” and closed out the night with “When Love and Death Embrace.”  The Neon Noir Tour 2023 kicked off on March 31st in Philadelphia and hit several major cities including Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta before finishing up on May 9th in New York, New York. Although this amazing tour is coming to an end we will welcome Ville Valo with open arms anytime!
