With “MASOCHIST,” Thomas delivers another powerful anthem that his listeners can sing along to. The tight rhythms, sweet vocals, and explosive choruses work together to achieve a signature Thomas Day sound, making it another electric addition to his repertoire. Throughout, Thomas gives us lines like, “There’s nothing like the way you love to hurt me” and “I hear your voice and you know I’ll stay,” demonstrating that the chance of love can sometimes be better than the risk of pain. You can check it out below.

Giving us more details about the single, Thomas shares,

“‘MASOCHIST’ is about a girl who I met and fell head over heels in love with, so fast and so hard that I didn’t care how badly I could get hurt. I wrote this song with my two friends Steve Rusch and Quinn Lewis. We were talking about the subtle complexities in relationships, and this song poured out. It’s about not being afraid to be hurt. Actually, it’s about wanting to be hurt.”

You can listen to “MASOCHIST” on platforms like SoundCloud, Spotify, and Apple Music.
