Grammy-award winning rock band Greta Van Fleet will be back on the road this summer to celebrate their upcoming third album Starcatcher, releasing on July 21. The world tour kicks off three days later, on July 24 in Nashville, TN and traverses from the US to Europe through December.
Fans can purchase tickets starting this Wednesday, April 19 at 10 AM through the general sale on Friday, April 21 at 10 AM local time. Supporting acts for the Starcatcher World Tour include Kaleo, Surf Curse, Mt. Joy and Black Honey.
Earlier this month, Greta Van Fleet released the first single from Starcatcher, titled “Meeting The Master,” an anthem that has set the tone for the upcoming album and the existential themes Starcatcher will explore. The explosive sound of “Meeting The Master” and the album to follow are sure to match the larger arenas they will be taking on this summer, in iconic venues like Madison Square Garden in New York, NY and The Forum in Los Angeles, CA.
Greta Van Fleet wrapped their entirely sold-out Dreams In Gold Tour at the end of March 2023, and quickly ushered in their next phase with live performances of several songs off Starcatcher at the final show in Sacramento, CA. The band captivated audiences around the world with their fiery live shows, and plan to capture that magic on Starcatcher this summer.
The band’s guitarist Jake Kiszka stated, “We didn’t really have to force or be intense about writing, because everything that happened was very instinctual. If anything, the record is our perspective, and sums up where we are as a group and individually as musicians.”
The band has sold over one million tickets and over 3.5 million records worldwide. Their 2017 EP From The Fires received a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. Their sophomore album, The Battle at Garden’s Gate, claimed #1 spots on the Billboard Rock Album, Hard Rock Album, and Vinyl Album Charts, and climbed to the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.
