Lewis Capaldi Releases “Wish You The Best”

Date:

Multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi has released a beautiful piano ballad today titled “Wish You The Best.” During the three and a half minute masterpiece Capaldi takes you on a ride of love, loss, and how to take anger and turn that into understanding and compassion.

Alongside the beautifully written song Capaldi also released a tear-jerking music video to match. During the music video you will see John, a older mail carrier and his bestfriend a sweet dog named, Willow experiencing love and life. As the video goes on, you will quickly realize you are watching the circle of life, the good times, the bad, and how we continue to move on without the ones we love as hard as that may be. During “Wish You The Best” Capaldi shows just how amazing his vocal range is, from subtle and sensitive, to intense vocal belts, it allows listeners to really feel the pain and emotion behind his words.

When asked Capaldi said “‘Wish You The Best’ came from the idea of a person you used to be with, telling you all this amazing stuff about their life, without you in it. It’s a song about what we don’t say to those people. I was fascinated by the things left unsaid, whether that be in a relationship or a friendship.”

The 26 year old Scottish artist is set to release a new album titled Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent on May 19th via Capitol Records. Click Here for more information on how to pre order.
