Pop-punk breakout artist jxdn has released a video and new single, “Sober.” The track, released via Travis Barker’s DTA Records, was written by jxdn, Travis Barker, Mike Posner, and Andrew Goldstein and has already racked up more than half a million streams on Spotify. The release of this track marks the beginning of a new chapter for jxdn, who is working on his sophomore album.

“This is the beginning of a new era for myself. This song doesn’t sound like the next, and the one after sounds different too. I’m making music for everyone now. You don’t have to be ready, because I already am.”

On top of releasing “Sober,” jxdn recently played a sold out show at The Roxy in LA – the same venue where he played his first ever show back in July 2021 – with surprise guest Machine Gun Kelly, headlined a North America Tour, and performed at the When We Were Young Festival.

“Sober” remains to keep jxdn’s angsty pop-punk-rock sounds that his fans know and love, while giving the perfect vocal range to fit into the new wave of the pop-punk genre. With a beat that is undoubtedly catchy, you’ll catch yourself singing and wondering if this is a jxdn track or something yungblud would release.
