Charlie Puth returns to Toronto for first time in four years

On Thursday, October 27th, American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth finally returned to Toronto for the first time in four years, putting on an energetic and captivating performance at Massey hall. Fans heavily anticipated Puth’s arrival, shouting and declaring their love for him before he finally made his way to the stage.

The New Jersey native started the show off with “Charlie Be Quiet!,” “Light Switch,” and “There’s a First Time For Everything,” all songs off of his new album CHARLIE. Transitioning into a setlist full of new and old tracks, Puth kept up with his crowd’s excitement with fans passionately singing along to each song. Later on in the night, Puth talked about his previous experience in Toronto on his last tour and mentioned how he wrote three songs after the show. He continued on to say “I am a broken record but I will write music out of this, I will take your screams, I will autotune them and make songs about them.”

Overall, Charlie Puth put on a show like no other. With his mindblowing talent at producing music, stellar vocals, and fun energy with the crowd, the New Jersey native gave Toronto fans an experience of a lifetime.
