New England’s own Noah Kahan put on a captivating show at a very sold out MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. The tour is in support of his newest critically acclaimed album Stick Season which is a love letter to New England, embodying everything it means to be from a small town place like Vermont. If you love albums that feel like fall then you will definitely love this album. This album is a stellar work of art and one of Noah’s best works to date, debuting at #14 on the Billboard 200 Chart, #4 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums Chart, #5 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums Chart, and #5 on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums Chart. It’s his most vulnerable album yet and fans are adoring it. Safe to say Noah is quickly taking the world by storm. You can stream Stick Season here.
Noah’s entire Stick Season tour is sold out to no one’s surprise. He made a stop in Boston for a very special night full of love and joy. The venue was packed early on in a sea of people wearing flannels, which went very well with the autumn vibe of the album. You could feel the excitement as time grew closer for Noah to take the stage and perform songs from Stick Season for the first time live in Boston. Before that would happen though opener Adam Melchor took the stage and really wowed the crowd with his soothing voice. Between making jokes in between songs and his stellar vocals, the crowd was loving every minute of it all. He got them ready for Noah to grace the stage.
The crowd was buzzing with energy patiently waiting for Noah to come out on stage. The time finally came and out came Noah in a stylish blue Sherpa jacket ready to give the crowd the best show they have ever seen. Noah and his band opened up with “False Confidence” leading straight into “All My Love”, and he had so much love for the Boston crowd. Having grown up in New England the show was an extra special one for him and one he had been waiting on for awhile. The energy was insane as the entire venue was singing along to every word, so much that you could barely even hear Noah at times. You could feel the New England love. Noah even mentioned how his ears were ringing for hours after the show and it was one night that he will never forget. It was a special cathartic night for everyone involved and one of his best shows to date. You definitely don’t want to miss out on seeing Noah live as he puts on a special show each time with his vulnerable heart wrenching songs and overall New England charm. You can catch him on the rest of the Stick Season tour with tour dates and tickets here.
