Friday Pilots Club release new song “Poison or Patience”

Date:

Friday Pilots Club is an alt-rock five-piece that includes lead singer Caleb Hiltunen, bassist Drew Polovick, drummer Eric Doar, and guitarists James Kourafas and Sean Burke. After releasing their third single of the year, “Never Say No,” the band announced their upcoming EP that will be delivered on October 27th: I love you, robot superstar.

Friday Pilots Club started releasing their own music in 2017 with a handful of cherished singles accompanied by their self-titled EP in May 2021. These early tracks received prompt critical acclaim from Alternative Press and Prelude Press. They’ve accumulated over 30 million streams on Spotify alone and have been featured on a multitude of Spotify’s playlists, such as Modern Rock and Today’s Alternative. Apple Music even highlighted them on Breaking Alternative and New In Rock. Friday Pilots club holds comparisons to The Strokes, The 1975, and 5 Seconds of Summer.

With earlier singles such as “Never Say No” and “Hot Mess” praised in EARMILK upon release, Friday Pilots Club has not let down as they cover all ends of the spectrum that is deemed alternative rock. The five-piece has been regularly dropping new merch items with each single and official visualizers curated by Ryan Portino on their Youtube along with the chance to join the guys for a special chat each release eve.

The band’s latest single, “Poison or Patience,” starts off with a haunting sound before the drums kick in and make the song an immediate banger. The track progresses with a cameo from OSTON that keeps the energy high and helps to round out the song.
