Chelsea Cutler captivates Nashville with her When I Close My Eyes Tour

Date:

Last Tuesday, October 18, Chelsea Cutler took the stage at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN for her current When I Close My Eyes Tour.

Arden Jones was first on the lineup for the night, bringing an energy that transferred into the crowd in front of him. Making the most with the time he had, Arden left fans both new and old wanting more. Once his set was done, he came out to his merch table to meet a few fans and sign some things before AYOKAY took the stage. AYOKAY provided a set that the crowd had been anticipating. During their set Jonathan Capeci, lead singer in the band nightly, took the stage to perform with them. AYOKAY and Jonathan gave an amazing performance that got the crowd excited for what the rest of the night had to hold.

After AYOKAY finished their set, it was time for Chelsea Cutler and the house was packed. Chelsea came out to a set made of led panels that were presenting a beautiful array of sunflowers. While performing music from her new album, Chelsea made sure to tie in crowd favorites and songs that had personal connection to her. During her show, she brought love and acceptance to her fans while telling them of her own anxiety and bisexuality to truly connect with them. She had a heart to heart with her audience saying, “When you are at a Chelsea Cutler show you are home.” Chelsea brought a performance of self empowerment, loving energy, and soothing vocals to her Nashville family for a night to never forget. And best yet, she had another surprise in store! As Chelsea had slowed things down, and brought out her keyboard to perform a few softer songs, she began playing a few notes that sent signals to everyone in the crowd after just a few keys were pressed. It was obvious she was beginning her song “Crying Over You” that she had made with The Band Camino, and sure enough those signals were correct! As Chelsea continued to play the intro music, she announced the entrance of Spencer Stewart from The Band Camino. The whole crowd was at a new level of interest as everyones phones went up to record the  moment these two artists performed a stripped down version of their hit song. After Spencer and Chelsea gave their fans everything they wanted and more, Chelsea came off the keyboard and went back into a beautiful and energetic performance of her hit songs that made people understand why Chelsea calls her concerts home.

Overall, Chelsea provided Nashville with enough energetic performances and guest appearances to make any concert goer content for months.
