Layto has his guard up on new single “MY HEAD”

Date:

One listen to Layto‘s newest hit “MY HEAD” is enough to get it stuck in yours. From the strong vocals to the intense instrumentals, the song is a showcase of musicality.

Reminiscent of The Score’s 2017 album Atlas, Layto adds his own flavor to punching up from the ground. Fighting against external demons is a familiar message, but it’s no less valuable. While the song doesn’t have a lot of lyrical variation, it really doesn’t need it. Where the track truly shines is in the crisp production and dynamics; the energy falls and builds exactly when it feels right. Audio effects like the panning during the words “round and around” are unique additions that make Layto’s hits land even harder.
