Thee Sacred Souls are here for the love on “Love Is The Way”

Date:

Their self-titled debut album is still fairly new, but Thee Sacred Souls are ready to share more new music.  The funk soul band received much acclaim from fans and music critics alike for their debut release in August, drawing in millions of streams for songs like “Weak for Your Love” and “Easier Said Than Done.”  Coinciding with the album release, the band also toured North America, performing hits from the album and gaining new fans in the process.  Before they embark to Europe for the first time next month, the guys made time to create a new single, “Love Is The Way,” which will surely be a highlight at these upcoming shows.

A soothing mix of falsetto and light percussion, “Love Is The Way” whisks you away to a place full of love and comfort.  Time seems to slow down a little as we hear lead vocalist Josh Lane sing about the different ways love manifests around him, from some couples holding hands to others kissing under the privacy of trees.  He then claims, “I promise I’ll be there” when called, showing up for love unconditionally.  With his signature vocals, he sings, “Love has no limits and it has no name / It’s every hour and it’s day by day.”  Ultimately, he concludes, “Love is the way!”  You can listen below.

Telling us more about the single, Josh shares,

“Love is the way.  Whether it’s romantic love or love for your neighbor, it’s all love.  Inspired by Toni & The hearts and the Stax sound, this uptempo A-side will be sure to inspire a two-step out of even the coldest of hearts.”

You can listen to “Love Is The Way” on platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music.

On October 27, the band will be performing a full concert on Bandcamp at 10pm ET / 7pm PT.  You can check it out here.
