LA-bred, Brooklyn-based rising female alt-pop artist Eva Rose released a new song, “Final Girl,” on September 28th. Eva can do it all: she’s a singer, songwriter, model, student, and TikTok viral astrologist. The artist brings a refreshing sound to Y2K-era alt-rock with her smooth blending of indie pop whimsy and wistful lyricism, and she has landed key placements on Spotify’s text me back and Fresh Finds series as well as Soundcloud’s Fresh Pressed program. Her sonic palette includes current and classic while easily finding a spot amongst newcomer Charli Adams and even veterans Paramore.
Eva returns with a gothic-pop moody single “Final Girl” after her recent release of an alt-pop punchy anthem, “Happy Belated.” The songwriter takes a different perspective in her sound and storytelling as she weaves together reality and horror by combining unreal multi-layer eclectic guitars, far-out bass lines, and amazing melodies. In the lyrics of the track she equates a past relationship to a slasher movie trope of the same name.
