Lizzy McAlpine had a special night in Boston at a very sold out Sinclair. Lizzy is on tour in support of her new critically acclaimed album Five Seconds Flat released in April of this year. Its an album seeing Lizzy at her best yet, full of heart wrenching songs leaving you feeling all of the emotions. Lizzy has embarked on her first ever headline tour full of sold out shows nearly every night. And the Boston stop on the tour was pretty special.
Lizzy is originally from Philly but went to school in Boston at Berklee College of Music for two years so she almost calls Boston a second home. So not only was it a special night for the reason of being back in Boston again, but it also happened to be her 23rd birthday. Playing a show on your birthday to a sold out crowd on your first ever headline tour is pretty special. The crowd was so eager to finally be able to see Lizzy live. It was the most packed the venue has been before so you know this was going to be an amazing night already. Fans were in for a treat as Lizzy played all the classics like “Pancakes For Dinner”, “All My Ghosts”, and even two new unreleased songs called “Emma” and “Come Down Soon” to the crowds delight. It was definitely a night full of crying and cheering as well as happy birthdays. You just had to be there to fully take it all in. An unforgettable night for sure. You can still catch Lizzy on tour with all dates and info here! You definitely don’t want to miss out on this one.
