AYU’s “Synchronicity” is a breath of fresh air

Date:

The Swiss songstress, AYU, is doing her own thing. Her most recent release, “Synchronicity,” is a breath-taking blend of contemporary indie-pop and futuristic electronic beats with layers of swirling guitar patterns. If you were a fan of Lorde‘s Melodrama, this one’s for you!

The songwriter and producer found early success in 2018 with her debut single, “Kings & Queens,” and has been consistently releasing music and touring since then. She has released two EPs this year, In Waves and Double Trouble, and has released 3 more singles in the past month: “Stay,” “ILY,” and “Synchronicity.” (Does she sleep?)

About her new single, AYU says, “‘Synchronicity’ is about a connection with someone that feels exhilarating yet effortless.” She writes about a “next-level bond, like a twin flame, a match made in heaven,” and admits she will forever be a hopeless romantic. But, she says, “If you know, you just know.”
