It’s only been one month since The Band Camino ended their Summer tour, but the boys are already back in the spotlight. Last Friday, August 26, The Band Camino began their University Campus Tour at The Lyric Theatre in Oxford, Mississippi and the crowd was all in! They started off with songs from their most debut album to get the whole crowd involved. Maintaining their usual setup, Jeffery Jordan was positioned on the right while Spencer Stewart was on the left; leaving Garrison in the center.
A fan favorite, ‘Roses’, was played for their third song of the night; complete with a bouquet of roses being tossed at Jeffery Jordan. The boys made sure to include some of their earlier songs like ‘California’ and ‘Haunted’ to provide long-time fans with sense of nostalgia. A huge part of The Band Camino’s concerts is the lighting. Using bright, vibrant colors for backlighting with haze, the boys transformed the stage into a true light show to bring their music to life. Slowing things down, Jeffery took to his keyboard and spoke to the crowd before beginning ‘Help Me Get Over You,’ a ballad that speaks on the issue of getting over someone you love.
The Band Camino ended the night with their hottest song, ‘Daphne Blue.’ The crowd was energetic and lively as they finished the show with deep blue lights, guitar solos, and Jeffery standing on a platform to get right next to the crowd. It was truly an unforgettable night and an outstanding way to start off their new tour!
