After the release of her first EP, Talking to Ghosts, Bridget Rian is soon returning with her latest set of songs entitled Screaming at the Stars.
Rian’s newest single off the upcoming EP, “Radio Silence,” continues to explore her knack for alternative songwriting. Rian first explored this genre of music due to her mother and choir teacher’s influences early in life.
The track explores being in a tough, one-sided relationship. She describes the song as “angry but also slightly pathetic” because it’s about always answering the phone no matter how badly the person on the other end treats you. The heavy guitar riffs, pounding drums, and booming bass have the sounds of early aughts alternative written all over them. Fans of Paramore, PVRIS, or Flyleaf will feel right at home with this single.
