Julia Wolf releases chilling video for “Hot Killer”

Date:

We were treated to “Hot Killer” last month, an empowering, no-nonsense track from rising singer-songwriter Julia Wolf.  Its sleek and sensual production, complete with Julia’s confident vocals, emits a confidence into the air, ready for others to breathe in.  Throughout the track, Julia drops lines like “Actors in my DMs I forgot about” and “I don’t throw parties, they invite me,” reminding everyone that she is a “Hot killer” who can’t be pushed around.  Before she moves on to her next release, as she is all about the new music, Julia is pairing “Hot Killer” with a video that means business.

In the video below, we join Julia and her friends for a seemingly innocent night in.   However, we realize that this harmless gathering has taken a dark turn.  A little bit Jennifer’s Body, a little bit Scream, the video is enough to keep any fan of thrillers entertained.  It is safe to say we will be inconveniently busy the next night the group gets together…

“Hot Killer” is Julia’s second release this year, following “R.I.P. to the Club” in March.  Before these singles, Julia gave us her debut EP Girls In Purgatory in October of last year, which was a culmination of the edgy tracks we heard from her in the years prior.

You can listen to “Hot Killer” on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud.
