MASN has an “Adrenaline” rush on new single

Date:

Life can put us through some rigorous tests, bending us in certain ways to see where we may break.  For indie pop artist MASN, one such test came in the form of a car accident that he, fortunately, survived.  After the terrifying experience, MASN knew he could either let it stop him from trying new things in his life or use it as a reminder to live life to the fullest.  On his new single “Adrenaline,” MASN chooses the latter.

With “Adrenaline,” MASN throws caution to the wind and gives into his sudden rush of emotions.  Over a sunny alt-pop production, he sings, “Adrenaline has got me / Got me in a headlock / Locked up til my heart stops / Don’t stop, keep it coming,” embracing the thrill of the unknown.  He continues, “I laughed when you told me / Told me to be cautious / I’m jumping regardless,” accepting the consequences.  The overall message of the track can definitely be applied to any scary or new situation, whether it is interviewing for a job, venturing to another country, or investing in an afternoon of skydiving.

In the video below, we watch as MASN takes part in a few elaborate stunts.  He attempts these stunts in various places, soaring high in the sky or stretching across the roof a speeding car.  His courage is very notable, as it takes more than a rush of adrenaline to make such moves.  He completed these stunts after months of training, so please do not try them at home!

About “Adrenaline,” MASN shares,

“I was in a car accident last year where my car rolled three times, and somehow, I walked away pretty much unscathed.  That was a very eye-opening experience.  I realized everyone has two lives, and the second starts when you realize you have only one.  You just have to live life, be present, and face your fears because if you’re not living anyway, what do you have to lose?”

“Adrenaline” is from MASN’s upcoming EP, This Place Wouldn’t Be The Same Without You, which is the follow-up to his 2020 EP, How To Kill A Rockstar.  You can listen to “Adrenaline” on platforms like SoundCloud, Spotify, and Apple Music.
