Manchester based pop duo push baby, formerly known as Rixton, performed to a full audience at The Victoria Dalston in London on Tuesday night. The Duo, consisting of Jake Roche and Charley Bagnall, put on a hell of a show, and Roche even joined the audience for an intimate performance of their song “Thor”. The setlist included many songs from their album Wow, Big Legend including “Wanna Go”, “Wishing We Were More Than Friends” and “Holding on Is Holding You Back”. During the encore Jake pulled a prank on the audience by smashing a ‘glass’ bottle over a ‘fans’ head after he shouted out he had paid £12 to see them perform the Rixton song “Me And My Broken Heart”. People were clearly fooled but the singer went on the explain that the fan was a friend of his and it was just a sugar glass bottle. They then went straight into playing the song and as you can imagine this sent the packed crowd crazy, everyone was having such a euphoric time. They closed the night with their biggest hit “thenineteenseventyfive”, which was the perfect way to end such a great evening.
Independent artists Nikki & The Waves and Eden Hunter both opened for the duo and put on excellent sets ahead of the headliners.
