Baby Queen rocks London on the final night of her UK tour

Date:

South African singer Baby Queen (real name, Arabella Latham) put on an incredible and energetic performance to an excited crowd at London’s Electric Ballroom on Wednesday night.

Kayla Grace opened up the night with a great set, which included her on stage alone with her guitar. She certainly had the whole audience captivated. Her set included performances of her unreleased song’s “Nobody Loves Me” and “Berlin”, as well as “Throw Up”.

The second support of the night was talented Manchester based singer-songwriter, Phoebe Green, who was joined on stage by their four piece band. Phoebe put on a brilliant set and performed plenty of their songs including “IDK”, “Make It Easy” and “So Grown Up”.

The crowd anxiously awaited the arrival of Baby Queen as soon as the lights went down and “Baby Kingdom” began playing out of the speakers. When she eagerly walked onto the stage the audience went crazy. Bella and her three piece band went straight into “Internet Religion”. The show had a capacity of 1,500, which is one of her largest headline shows to date, so we can only imagine how surreal this must have felt for the talented 24-year-old singer.

After this Baby Queen went on to perform “Raw Thoughts” and “Wannabe”, which had the crowd dancing, at one point Bella herself got off stage and went in the crowd to dance with her fans. She put on an hour-long set, which included a very special performance of “Colours Of You”, the song she wrote for the hit Netflix coming of age show Heartstopper. This was the first time Bella has performed this song live and it was an absolutely lovely stripped back version of the song. She admitted she hadn’t even had a chance to rehearse it, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell as she had the entire audience watching in awe of her talent. As an extra treat midway through the song she invited her friends, the cast of Heartstopper, onto the stage to sing and dance along to the song with her. It was such a beautiful moment and we feel honoured to have been there to capture it!

She couldn’t end the night without performing her most popular song “Want Me”, which had the crowd going crazy and dancing along with the talented singer. We certainly can’t wait to continue to watch and support Baby Queen as her career continues to grow.
