GEORGE EZRA’s show last night at the Manchester Opera House was the best kind of medicine; he brought all the right vibes to the age-diverse audience who loved his set full of new and old hits.
He opened with latest single “Anyone For You” and went on to sing “Get Away”, “Barcelona” and crowd favourite “Pretty Shining People”.
George Ezra proved that theatre shows with an all seated plan can be energetic and fun, tricking the crowd onto their feet and dancing with some of his biggest songs such as “Blame It On Me”, “Shotgun” and of course “Budapest”.
“Green Green Grass” his catchy next single (due to be released on April 22nd) from the new upcoming album Gold Rush Kid (due to be released June 10th) made its second live appearance and it was immediately well received with the fans. He made sure everybody knew the lyrics of the chorus which was filmed, and even admitted that the Manchester crowd sang it much better than the previous crowd in London, “and I’m not just saying that!” he joked.
A George Ezra concert is a truly wonderful place to be; so chilled with a gratifyingly brilliant atmosphere.
