Claud made their way to Boston for an outstanding show at Brighton Music Hall. The tour was in support of their critically acclaimed debut album Super Monster full of bangers like “Soft Spot” “Cuff Your Jeans” and “Gold”. Claud got their start by making music in their bedroom independently and releasing it on soundcloud. They knew that music was what they wanted to pursue, it’s like they were made for this. Upon making Super Monster Claud would be signed to Saddest Factory Records, a record label run by Phoebe Bridgers, Claud was the first one to be signed to the label which is an horor. Claud has since been on the rise and there is no stopping them anytime soon.
Claud embarked on what is their biggest headline tour to date and it was one you definitely had to be there to experience. The tour ran from February to the end of March with dates spanning all over the U.S. This Boston date on the tour was the second to last on the run so it was even that more special. The night opened up with the fantastic Kali who stole the show and got the fans hyped up and ready for the rest of the night. Definitely keep them on your radar.
The time finally came for Claud to grace the stage and they came out to the roar of the crowd with “Eye of the Tiger” playing in the back to get everyone hyped. Claud opened up with “Overnight” a standout track from the album. The night was full of songs from Super Monster as well as newer song “Tommy” and unreleased song “Go Home!” . Claud also brought out the amazing Kali to sing “Wish You Were Gay” with them, to the crowds delight. It was a jam packed night full of so much fun, you just had to be there to witness it. Although the U.S tour is now over you can still catch Claud on their Europe tour starting in May, ticket info here. The future is bright for Claud and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store!
