The Inaugural Innings Festival Rocks Tampa

Date:

Last weekend, Raymond James Stadium went from touchdowns to homeruns when the Innings Festival came to Tampa, FL. Although the festival has been in Tempe, AZ for a few years, this is the first year the festival has come to the sunshine state. And if the crowds have anything to say about it, it won’t be the last. Two full days of music and meet and greets with baseball players along with food, drink, and batting cages made for a memorable weekend.

Saturday’s lineup included The Beaches, David Duchovny (yes, THAT David Duchovny), Wolf Alice (who I am now a huge fan of), Highly Suspect, Incubus, and 311. Sunday saw Liz Cooper, Neon Trees, Skip Marley (Bob Marley’s doppelganger grandson), O.A.R., Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats (maybe the one I was most excited for), and Khruangbin. The Lumineers closed out the festival Sunday night with a performance that is going to stick with everyone for quite a while.
