Sun June shares video for the dreamy bonus track “Reminded”

The band Sun June put out a pretty outstanding record in last year’s Somewhere — their dreamy blend of indie won over a ton of new fans and saw them touring with Shakey Graves by the year’s end. Tomorrow, they’ll release an expanded version of Somewhere via Run for Cover and Keeled Scales that repackages the album with a handful of bonus tracks, and today they’ve shared the music video for “Reminded”. The track is a perfect summation of what’s to love about Sun June; lead singer Laura Colwell has a voice that blends the best of Victoria Legrand and early Sharon Van Etten, and the instrumentation assembled around her is delightfully hazy until the final chorus where an unexpected saxophone line takes center stage. A YouTube comment for this video describes the track as the “type of song to just slow-dance to alone in your room”, and we definitely agree.
