MisterWives make their return to Boston & put on an emotional show

Date:

MisterWives are the definition of resilient as they made a triumphant return to Boston after the ending of their tour was postponed. New dates were scheduled for early January and fans were eager to see MisterWives on the rest of their Resilient Little Tour. It was certainly a night to remember.

The night started off with opener LPX who really showed the crowd how to have a good time. The energy from their set was insane and got everyone off of their feet. It was a fantastic way to kick off an already great night.

It was finally time for MisterWives to grace the stage and the crowd was amped up to see their favorite band after so long. MisterWives were just as excited for this as it was their first tour date back after postponing the reaming dates in December due to COVID. You could really feel all of the positive energy in the venue that night, it was palpable. MisterWives really know how to bring positivity everywhere they go, and their 2020 album SUPERBLOOM is evident of that. SUPERBLOOM is a work of art, and an album full of songs with important messages many people needed to hear. It’s an inspiration to many. Lead singer Mandy Lee is a resilient superstar who took her pain and made it into something positive. It was an emotional night overall for her as she teared up a couple times throughout the night, mentioning how she didn’t think she’d be able to go on with the show that night, but seeing everyone’s faces and getting to play music live again made it all worth it. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room that night, it was super special. Fans were in for a treat as they played SUPERBLOOM in almost its entirety, as well as playing their newly released single “Stepped On A Bee” which is their first independent record label release, on their rightfully named Resilient Little Records. MisterWives continue to be an inspiration for many and know how to put on such an amazing show each and every time. It was definitely a night to remember and one MisterWives won’t forget.
