Beabadoobee brought her North American tour to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall last Thursday for an electric performance.

The night began with the opening act, Christian Leave, who made quite an entrance as he was carried out on a couch by his bandmates, inspired by the Simpsons’ opening theme. Leave got the crowd pumped performing songs off his EPs “Heavy Hitting Hurts My Head” and “Days Like Lost Dogs”.

The moment Beabadoobee stepped on stage, the crowd went wild as she started off her set with “Care”, the first single off of her debut album Fake It Flowers. It was lovely to see her interaction with fans throughout the show, making sure everyone was ok and having a good time. The crowd was head banging to every minute of it with a mosh pit forming midway into the set. She slowed things down a bit when she came back on stage for an encore, acoustic guitar in hand and performed “Coffee” and brought back the energy closing off with “cologne”.
