Joji Brings Nectar: The Finale to NYC

Date:

Joji brought his Nectar: The Finale Tour to a sold-out crowd Friday night at NYC’s Terminal 5. This was night one of two and the crowd was ready to rock with the Youtube star turned musician!

Rei Brown opened up for Joji. He played for about 35 minutes and got the crowd nice and warmed up with his indie pop lo-fi music. He is both a producer and a musician, so his set was quite impressive.

Joji performed next, and the energy was electric as soon as he stepped on stage. You might know Joji from his Youtube days as Filthy Frank and Pink Guy, but this music has an entirely different feel to those personalities. It was quite interesting seeing him perform because there were moments where he was Joji and moments where he was a comedian and they were intertwined together. He even included a slingshot into his set several times where he would launch things like merch and underwear out into the audience.
