Twenty One Pilots bring the Takeover Tour to Atlanta

Date:

Twenty One Pilots stopped in Atlanta for several nights on their unique Takeover Tour this past week. On this interesting setup, the band plays several venues per city on their tour, and Atlanta was lucky enough to be one of eight cities the boys picked to play four shows in during one week. They started small at Center Stage Theater, then to the Tabernacle, the Coca-Cola Roxy, and finally the enormous State Farm Arena on their last night in Atlanta. We were able to catch them on night #2 at the Tabernacle, which is a rather small venue for the chart-topping duo. The show felt intimate to fans who craved to see their favorite band in a smaller setting to get a more personal experience at the show. The Takeover Tour is a very unique tactic Twenty One Pilots has used to be able to reach out to their long-term fans and give them a show that makes them feel closer to the band. They have always been great at giving back to their dedicated fanbase, and the Atlanta Clique surely appreciated them stopping in Atlanta for four nights and performing both old and new music during their two-hour set. Check out our photo coverage of the special night below:
