Said The Sky joins forces with The Maine for “Go On Then, Love”

Date:

If you have been keeping up with electronic pop artist Said The Sky lately, then you know all about his beautiful, crazy summer.  From delivering new music to gigging with good friends around the country, Said The Sky has made each moment count – especially when he sold out the one and only Red Rocks Amphitheatre!  Clearly, fans have been more than ready for his live shows and moving music, which includes new favorites “We Know Who We Are” and “Treading Water” released earlier this year.  Rounding out these releases with “Go On Then, Love,” Said The Sky is teaming up with The Maine to ensure that the trilogy ends in style.

On “Go On Then, Love,” Said The Sky and The Maine work their magic, giving us heart-warming layers of their signature indie pop sounds.  Invoking a sense of nostalgia with bright melodies and lyrics like “I don’t mind getting lost in you and your eyes, on the floor in your room,” the track is definitely “a sound from the clouds,” which is what Said The Sky is all about.  The single also completes “We Know Who We Are” and “Treading Water,” its mood falling between the high energy vibes of the former and the melancholy tones of the latter.

The video for the track wraps up the storylines presented in the earlier parts of the trilogy.  In part one, for instance, we saw a relationship play out between two of the three main characters.  Fully in love and getting into trouble together, it seemed like the couple was made to last.  However, in part two, we see that their story was not as picture-perfect as it seemed.  With part three, all of the pieces of this love triangle fit together and we find out where things stand for these three.  You can check it out below.

You can listen to “Go On Then, Love” on platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music.
