IDK, Rico Nasty, and Yung Manny rock a sold out celebration show in Boston

Date:

Rapper/producer/and visionary artist IDK performed a sold out show at Paradise Rock Club in Boston with some of his friends including Rico Nasty  and Yung Manny. The show was a graduation celebration for No Label Academy, which IDK launched himself with the help of Harvard University clinical law professor Brian K. Price. IDK would go on to teach classes at Harvard on music business for 10 days. Partners included NIKE, Logitech, Brand Jordan, GUESS, Converse, and more.

“I decided to create this program for the purpose of letting people in the BIPOC community know that a job in the arts is a lot more realistic than what society makes it seem these days,” IDK says of No Label Academy.

IDK is a true talent and his devotion to the music industry and helping people achieve their dreams within the industry is what make him so great. He is known for his brilliant songwriting ability and the power to tell stories through his music. His recently released album USEE4YOURSELF  is a stellar album full of introspective and somber moments. Some of his best work to date. This sold out show was not only a celebration but a night to remember and the start to his tour. This show will remarkably go down in history, as it should.

It was a crazy night with so much to offer. IDK not only brought along Rico Nasty and Yung Manny, but he also featured his students he taught in his program at Harvard, which was amazing to see.  He’s giving these people a chance of a lifetime and they were ever so grateful for it, you could tell. Everyone in the venue was grateful to be there and they were ready for the show of a lifetime. And boy was it a show. Some IDK Students kicked off the show with eager cheers from the crowd. They really brought their A game. Yung Manny was next to come out on stage and he really gave it his all, he really left it all out on that stage and the crowd was going nuts, what a way to continue. Then it was time for IDK to grace the stage and the crowd was obviously very excited to see him perform for the first time since the pandemic. He surely didn’t disappoint. He played some of his classics while also playing songs from USEE4YOURSELF, much to the crowd’s delight. There was so much energy in the building that you could pretty much feel the vibrations, it was unreal. IDK expressed his gratitude for everyone coming out and how proud he is of his students in the Harvard program. It was a sweet moment. I don’t think anything could top it. Rico Nasty was the closing act and she brought the heat as always. The energy was insane as the night came to a close. Definitely a night to remember, you had to be there. IDK is paving the way for upcoming artists in the industry and we’re excited to see what else he does in the future.
