Since their last tweet in 2014, on August 23rd The Cab has teased a new track with the caption “Happy 10 year anniversary, Soldiers. This ones for you.” – exactly 10 years after the release of, Symphony Soldier, their last full release before going separate ways in October 2015.
“Rollercoaster”, the teased track and video snippet from The Cab’s official twitter page starts with the lyrics “Where has the time gone / I swear its been so long / and life makes you dizzy / and we get so busy, somehow”. The video shows front man Alex DeLeon with original pianist/guitarist Alex Marshall.

The band is known for their songs “Endlessly“, “One of THOSE Nights” (with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy and Brendan Urie of Panic! at the Disco), and “I’ll Run“, which came from their albums Whisper War and Symphony Soldier. Since the band went different ways, The Cab’s front man, Alexander DeLeon, released his solo project Bohnes (a project that has been pretty quiet since 2018).
Although there is only speculation at this point, fans are hoping for a 10 Year Anniversary Tour of Symphony Soldier along with new music.
