Legendary rockers KISS kicked off the second leg of their final tour in Mansfield, Massachusetts, setting the Xfinity Center ablaze from start to finish. August 18th marks the band’s return to the stages, long awaited by fans all across the world. After the iconic curtain drop, Detroit Rock City started roaring through pyrotechnics that captured the crowd and did not let go. The energy was at its highest all through the night, as KISS took the audience through their repertoire, a trip through almost 50 years of rock & roll. Classics like “Deuce”, “Cold Gin” and “Black Diamond” intertwined with hits from their Unmasked era, such as “Heaven’s on Fire” and “Tears Are Falling”, all the way to “Say Yeah”, from their 2009 album Sonic Boom.
True to their larger than life stage presence, the crowd got to experience a spectacular laser show, as well as ear shattering pyrotechnics, with Gene Simmons spitting fire and Paul Stanley flying above the crowd. After their groundbreaking 1974 debut album, KISS has ensured the KISS Army walks away having had the time of their lives, after the anthemic Rock and Roll All Nite closes off an incredible night. Across generations, the band has been a staple of pure, entertaining rock & roll.
