Pvris rock a sold out hometown show at House of Blues Boston

Date:

Pvris came home for a night to play a sold out show at House of Blues Boston, and man was it electrifying. This was the band’s first time back on the road since the pandemic started and since they released their album Use Me. This would be the first time Boston fans would be hearing songs off of Use Me live, as well as their new single “Monster” and you could feel the excitement in the venue. Pvris’s frontwoman Lynn Gunn has been through a lot in the past few years, and a lot of it is encapsulated in the Use Me album which is about perseverance and strength. She has fully embraced the new era of Pvris.

Fans were in for a treat knowing they get to hear these songs live for the first time, and the band were equally as excited to finally be playing them live for the crowd. Show are back but operating under covid protocols to make sure everyone is safe while they have a good time. And everyone definitely had a good and safe time. The show started off with the openers Royal & The Serpent who were fantastic and got the crowd riled up and ready for Pvris to grace the stage.  The time finally came and out came Pvris to the screaming crowd opening with their brand new song “Monster” to the crowds surprise. The band was truly happy to be back and you could tell from their energy and smiles. They played all of the classics like “St. Patrick”, “What’s Wrong”, as well as new unreleased songs “If I Don’t Wake Up Tomorrow” and “My Way” which the crowd was ecstatic about. Overall it was a fantastic show with a lot of energy and love. Everyone was glad to be back at a Pvris show.
