With tour cancellations and the dreaded 2020 lockdowns, Southern California band HUNNY was able to use their time off to becoming better songwriters. How you ask? The band launched a home-recording crash course to learning at home recording techniques and started to experiment with producing their own music. With that, they challenged themselves to produce one new song a month; and out of that challenge, the band released “Sports with Strangers,” “Xbox Luvr,” and now their newest indie pop single, “Daydreams/Heartbreaks.”
Commenting on the track the band says, “’Daydreams/Heartbreaks’ is about the moments in which you and your partner are both lost in thought. Trying to infer what they may be thinking of causes you to become trapped in spiral of insecurities. Irrational thought patterns where the negative aspects of your relationship are playing in the theater of their mind, and you fear that they may come to realize that this all may be a mistake.”

Due to the pandemic, HUNNY was forced to cancel their East Coast tour. A year later, the band has announced the rescheduling of those dates! Previously purchased tickets will be honored and additional tickets go on sale this Friday, June 11 on the bands website.
