No Rome Slows Things Down on New Track

Date:

Last year was a big year for No Rome, as he released his second EP, Crying In The Prettiest Places.  It was an enchanting blend of indie and r&B, and gave us a closer look into No Rome’s world.  He followed up this EP with a few singles, which took us out to the end of 2019.  Now, the inimitable singer is back with “Hurry Home,” an introspective track about relationships.

The track opens with acoustic guitar, setting a vibe that is quite different to your typical No Rome tune.  This softer sound is enhanced with beabadoobee, who calmly sings the first verse.  She is reflecting on someone who she wants in her life, but for some reason, she is hesitant to let them in.  Once No Rome comes in on the chorus, a clearer picture gets painted.  We hear about some conflict in the relationship, and how there are some issues that need to be worked through.  Jay Som sings the second verse, adding more depth to the story of this estranged couple.

The trio have managed to create a beautiful track that flows effortlessly between them.  You can listen to it below!
